Soap nuts are a natural laundry detergent that grows on trees in the Himalayan forests of Nepal. They are a fast growing market within Europe and North America.

With so many soap nuts distributors in the marketplace, it is often difficult to know where to turn for the best quality products available. Many companies only provide sapindus trifoliatus, or lesser quality soap nuts, harvested late in the year. We are one of the biggest manufacturer/ supplier of certified organic sapindus mukorossi Soap Nuts. The contractors bring the soap nuts to the processing plant where the employees break the soap nuts open and remove the seeds from the shells. This process includes beating the soap nuts with a wooden club and removing the pits by hand.

The shells are then dried in the sun, packaged up to conform to distributor’s requirements, and shipped worldwide for distribution.

The harvesting and marketing of soap nuts is unique in its many benefits to the environment. The tropical Sapindus Mukorossi tree, which grows the soap nuts, is so plentiful in countries such as Nepal, that its fruit is not marketable within the areas it grows. Anybody could go and pick soap nuts for themselves and use them. Because of this, the trees are more valuable as firewood than they are for the fruit they produce. We make the live trees more valuable than the dead ones. In this way, we do our part in saving the world’s tropical forests.
